I am making a promise right now to never put my children through broken promises of tomorrows that never come. We are experiencing first hand how disappointing those are. If they ask "Mom, can we go to the park?" I will either say yes or no, but never promise 'tomorrow' as I don't know what tomorrow will bring.
Today, I am praying that this is the last we will hear, "We promise you will hear something tomorrow!"

I hope so too! Thinking and praying for you guys!
It absolutely stinks that promises get broken in our lives. Thankfully, you belong to a gracious and loving heavenly Father who keeps His promises. All His promises are "Yes" in Christ Jesus. As you consider the broken promises of this life, rejoice in the certainty of God's promise in Jesus! And of course, we're praying the promise of tomorrow is kept too. God be with you!
Your family has been on my mind and I continue to hope to see good news very soon!
How VERY disappointing...I am SO sorry. And I'm hoping tomorrow's promise is kept!!!
(((HUGS))) and know that there are so many praying for you!!
Hi! I have been reading your blog from afar. I am in the process as well and have been following your journey. I make my first trip in April. I know the pain of "tomorrow". Have been experiencing that too. I am glad you have your faith to keep you hopeful that the journey brings you exactly where you should be, when you should be there. Hold on! One adoptive family reminded me to pray for doors to close when they should be closed and to open wide when they should be opened. Little consoluation perhaps as you are so anxious to bring your little one home but please hold on! Prayers for you.
Praying for you, Heather.... Makes me wonder if your judge is the same one we had....she did the same thing to us. It's so frustrating. I had to remind myself over and over and over that God IS in control. It will happen when HE says and not a second before.
Blessings~
Heather,
You guys were heavy on my heart today ... Gene had told me that you should have heard something by now. So I got online to see what was happening. Needless to say, I'll be praying for you today.
I did take some blankets to Kathy's for you to take with you.
Jesus, as you've opened wide Heather & Justin's hearts, open wide the door to bring this precious little one home."
Blessings,
Martha
Come on. I check in here several times every day to see if there is anything happening. Do you need me to call the judge?!
Praying for some good news soon!!
