Slowly, steadily, surely...

I don't know if you remember or not, but we traveled to meet Blake the exact same weekend we traveled to meet the Little Guy just two years later.  It has been awhile since I have looked back at what I posted two years ago on our blog.  Tonight when I took a look at my beginning of January posts this is what I found...

I saw this on another blog and  thought it was appropriate - a Living Bible translation of Habakkuk 2:3 and I feel like it is written for times like these. "...these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day."

I guess that is a rather fitting scripture just as much today as it was two years ago!

WOW! The "God" timing things only seem to keep getting more and more amazing! What a reminder that He is in control! Even when we feel like we aren't! :) Praying you can return soon!

I needed that. I am now on month 16 waiting on my little guy. I brought my other son home 4 1/2 years ago. This wait is so long but I feel God is leading me back to Russia.

Thanks for sharing, guys! Very fitting for us as well. We're struggling as we wait too. We're not even registered yet and we already see our little guy's picture on the refrigerator several times a day, just hoping and praying that we can go meet him ASAP. Our prayers are with you as you wait! God bless!
